GTA VI Accessibility: What Is Confirmed and How to Prepare

Latest verified dates: pre-load 10 November, launch 19 November 2026. See the GTA VI Launch Hub for sources and the change log.

Rockstar has not published a full accessibility list for GTA VI on the pages we checked, so the honest answer today is that the in-game options are unknown. What you can do now is set up your console, controller and TV, so launch day goes smoothly.

Key takeaways

• In-game accessibility options: Unknown until published or checked in the game.
• Console-level settings are available now.
• Use the accessibility planner to keep track.
• We will update this page once we can verify the real options.

What is confirmed, and what is not

What you can set up today

• Text and contrast: check console text size and contrast options.
• Buttons: check console button assignment or remapping, which can apply beyond one game.
• Audio: check your headset and TV sound output, and turn on TV captions if you use them for other apps.
• Hardware: set up any adaptive controller profile you use, and charge it.
• Display: use the display readiness checker for Game Mode and HDR.

On launch day

If you can, open the settings menu before you play for long. Note anything you could not change, because reports to Rockstar support are more useful when they name the option and your console.
