GTA VI Mods and RP Servers: What Is Actually Confirmed
Latest verified dates: pre-load 10 November, launch 19 November 2026. See the GTA VI Launch Hub for sources and the change log.
Rockstar has not announced mod support or role-play server support for GTA VI on the pages we checked, and it has not announced a PC version. Anything you read about GTA VI mods today is therefore speculation or planning, not a confirmed feature.
Key takeaways
- GTA VI platforms: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, Confirmed.
- PC version: Unknown.
- Mod support: Unknown.
- RP servers on GTA VI: Unknown.
- Be careful with any site offering GTA VI mods or cheats now.
Why this matters
Traditional PC mods and FiveM-style role-play servers need a PC version of the game. Rockstar’s game page lists only the two console platforms. Until that changes, a claimed GTA VI mod, trainer or RP server launch should be treated with suspicion, and any download could be unsafe.
What exists today
Role-play and modding communities operate around earlier Rockstar games through their own platforms and rules. The Cfx marketplace is one such platform for FiveM and RedM, and it has its own licence terms. Those terms apply to the games and services they name, and you should not assume they will carry over to GTA VI.
How to prepare without guessing
- Follow our PC release status page.
- Check the facts vs rumours tracker, where each item is labelled.
- If you run an RP community, write rules and applications that do not depend on one game.
- Read the actual policy text, and take legal advice if you plan to earn money from a server.
About our older modding tools
Some older tools on this site are planners built before GTA VI details were known. They are fan projects, and they do not mean mods exist for the game.
